The app is not currently in use. So far there has not been any verification system utilized, was basically "on your honor" but that is paused for now.

Likely will be self-administered as a designated place in each center to scan your card in then the app verifies and stores in case of audit with a Y/N status in the HR system. Corporate thinks they have this right and will comply unless the administration directs otherwise. Only chance to resist this is en masse. If the majority of all, both vaxed and unvaxed, union and management, will stand strong and not comply in large enough numbers seems that this would be unenforceable. Beyond that not sure there is anyway this will not happen given the current climate.

The vaccines are being delivered on behalf of the manufacturer. The contract is between the manufacturers of the vaccines and the federal government. Again, the federal contractor deadlines have expired and UPS has not reacted to them because they don’t apply and UPS has openly stated that they do not feel the need to vaccinate their hub workers because our low case numbers. We work predominantly outside by ourselves in open well ventilated spaces. UPS has not reacted publicly again until OSHA came out with the 100 plus employee ETS, which currently was shot down. The teamsters publicly didn’t react either until the ETS, which they are now openly talking with UPS in case the ETS survives court challenges. Have you read the 5th circuit court ruling or the Teamsters letter to UPS? The judge ripped OSHA and The Biden admin a new . The teamsters being an extension of the Democratic Party are just praying to themselves that they can get around the law.
