It is, what's even worse is that the chemical gas Phosgene, which was a gas used WWI as a nerve agent, and was responsible for 85k deaths, is also burning into the atmosphere and contaminating the whole region.

And the symptoms of exposure aren't good, in high enough concentrations it can cause pulmonary edema, and at that point it's almost too late, and the symptoms of exposure don't show up instantly it takes awhile, but when it does hit, it's nasty.



This is a perfect example of how a negligent company operating in an already neglected industry can really cause a lot of damage.
