so you think jesus approves of you supporting nukes?
I don't support nukes the way you proclaim. I do view them as a necessary evil for our country and I have never felt the need for us to dismantle ours unless everyone does. I do pray for guidance of how to live my life and have never felt the calling to join people like you in your mission. Other than that, I don't know if Jesus approves of my approach or not, nor do I feel you have the authority to know. For some reason you feel that it's important whether Jesus would approve or not. The answer is that I'm sure he wouldn't approve of violence in any form of hatred. Guns, knives, broken bottles, explosives, vehicles driven in kill mode. But living in a fallen world defending one's self is not frowned upon in my opinion.

I don't support violence being a good thing in any form unless it must be done for a self defense reason. I own several guns and would never hope to use it on someone unless using it as a form of self defense. When I'm backpacking on trail I carry a knife but would never want to use it on another person unless I am defending myself

and jesus would act like this?

im not a pacifist and many people i admire are not, but its interesting to discussing linking violent self defense to christianity.

I am not Jesus nor is anyone else. If I am wrong about self defense then it’s not His fault

he was a pacifist

its interesting how christians break with this

theres a philosophy phrase which says its better to suffer wrong than to do wrong.
None of us will ever be who Jesus was. He led a life we should strive for but will never achieve. Jesus the man had His purpose. He died for the sins of man. But violence will always be in a human world. All you have to do is pick a book in the Old Testament to see that war was real and also allowed in certain times. So if Christians are guilty of defending their lives from other men then I suppose we will have to answer for that.

lots of people were like jesus

i think it clouds understanding of him when we cant make the connection between him, MLK, malcolm x, snowden, and assange to name a few.

because to you He holds the same level as the others. I don't. Those other people were full of failure to Jesus' standard. MLK himself had mistresses. Jesus was the son of God Himself. I put Him on a much higher plane than you do, so we will view it differently.

How in the world do you come up with that? Let me guess, there are stories of incest in the Bible so somehow you've extrapolated that's God's law? Cause if it's in the Bible we must follow it? Seriously are you that stupid?
How did Adam and Eve and their offspring propagate the species?
