I don't like Norton, too much of a resource hog. I like the avast free. Not too resource heavy at all.

Norton was really bloated for a while but that is straightened out now and it is very similar to Avast. I would choose Avast if I didn't already have Norton and may switch anyway next year.

Microsoft's current version of windows defender works well, and it's free. Their previous security suite was a disaster.
NOD 32 is really good, but it's not free and I found it a little tricky to configure. It has been a couple of years since I used it so it may be different now.

I have used Trend Micro,for years. Even on my phone. Never a problem!
I've used their online scan before. I forgot about it... maybe @screamin chicken should give that a try.

They have a free 30 day trial version. It has worked well for me. Macafee and nortons...nothing but headaches and virsuses.
I bought a 3 user,of Trend on line. For less than $30. Well worth It!

I bought a 3 user Norton for about the same price ($31.99). Much cheaper to get it through Amazon than directly from Norton.
My other computer,I use Kaspersky. Have a software conflict with trend. Both very good! Never any problems.

I did the house call Trend Micro, it said no virus, I still cant open the site, I did open it once yesterday, and this morning not, Ill try the Windows defender, can someone try www.challengerforumz.com and see if they can open it....Thanks

Ok I try to run my windows defender, it says its off do to another APP, not really sure what APP, and not sure how to turn defender back on.....
