Are you?
You literally said the virus would be the next great hoax. I even highlighted it in red to make it easier for you to see.
So is it a hoax or not a hoax
I'm not sure how i could dumb it down any more for you.

your mask assertions go against hte science LOL
so does your global warming assertions
Data has shown wearing a mask works better than wearing no mask. You just like to play contrarian.
What data? The laboratory tests? The anecdotal "observational studies"? The made up statistical analyses? The empirical data as gathered through random control tests shows that there is no evidence that masks slow the spread of ILI. You know why random controlled studies are more reliable than all the other ones I listed? Because they eliminate bias. Scientists have expectations just like anyone else, and they interpret data through their own value systems. Double bilnd random controlled studies are the most reliable source of data that science has. But you knew that right? Nope, 'cause if you did, you would understand why the data does not show that masks slow the spread of ILI.
Have you addressed your concerns about this with your union steward?Americans have learned that Trump is a clown. He has embarrassed his silly little base of sheep.
So the CDC which is headed by a guy trump picked, and the trump administration who has every reason(because they want the economy to open back up) to say it doesn't matter if you wear masks there is no way to prevent the spread of this disease no matter what we do and our "demographics" whatever that means will determine who lives and who dies and this virus is like the tide, are lying to his own supporters and not telling them the truth because? What does the trump administration gain by pushing the wear the mask lie? What does the CDC headed by the guy trump hired gain from the wear the mask lie? That's the beauty of oversimplifying the factors and following logic that is completely decoupled from data and anchored firmly in political ideology. You claim experts and countries with good track records for doing what you think they should do.
You can claim "experts", but downplay my references to actual random controlled studies, published and peer reviewed by experts in their respective fields, as "something" I "read on the internet". Isn't that where you get your information? Man, you don't even see your own hypocrisy. Or maybe you do and don't care?
As for countries with good track records, there's a word or phrase for this logical fallacy, but I can't recall it at the moment. Basically you set conditions and say that if a country is doing well, it's because they followed the conditions properly, and if they don't do well, it's because people were not following your idea of what they should be doing well enough. This is the mentality driving the liberal world view. No amount of facts or data can overcome it, because they are so dug in and will only accept that which confirms their beliefs.
The facts are:
There is no evidence that masks slow the spread of ILI.
How a population responds to a virus is driven by demographics more than behavior modification. Blaming others for spreading a virus is like blaming them for a tidal wave.
Destroying people's lives by randomly clamping down on some economic activities and not others has caused, and will continue to cause, much more harm than the virus has or will.
I'm sorry if the facts don't support your irrational views. I'm sure your simply dismiss the facts, but you can't deny them. It's bizarre that people build an identity around stubbornly causing as much harm as possible while demanding people believe their actions are actually helping. It is an irrational and clownish pov.
What in my post is unconfirmed? Does trump have the virus? Does 3 us Senators have the virus? Have multiple other people who attended that whitehouse meeting gotten the virus? did they wear masks or practice social distancing at the white house event?sources other then CNN?
On one hand there’s countless doctors and infectious disease experts saying masks help slow the spread. On the other there’s a truck driver that believes vaccines cause autism, smoking doesn’t cause cancer and masks don’t help. It’s hard to decide who to believe.Dr. Bell: “Data shows that wearing face masks works”; Latest COVID-19 Update (August 12, 2020) | SCDHEC
"COLUMBIA, S.C. — The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) released new data today that indicates local mask ordinances are helping to slow the spread of COVID-19.
“This new data shows us what we already knew, wearing face masks works,” said Dr. Linda Bell, S.C. State Epidemiologist. “We’re strongly supportive of these local leaders’ initiatives that are centered on protecting the health and wellbeing of their communities.”
The South Carolina Emergency Management Division has released a regularly updated map showing the counties and municipalities that currently have mask requirements in place, which is available on the home page of scemd.org. SCEMD’s map shows jurisdictions where masks are required by ordinance and where masks have been recommended by proclamation from local elected officials.
Analysis of local mask ordinances show:
“We will be in a much better position in four to six weeks if South Carolinians practice physical distancing and use a mask,” Bell said. “Together, we can completely reverse our fortunes and create safe environments for our business recovery, for our lifestyle recovery, and particularly for our students returning to school in a few short weeks, but we must act more aggressively, and now.”
- As of this week, nearly 40 percent of residents, or approximately 2,000,000 South Carolinians, reside in jurisdictions that have local mask requirements in place.
- When comparing the jurisdictions that have mask requirements in place to those that don't, the jurisdictions with mask requirements have shown a 46.3 percent greater decrease in the total number of cases during the four weeks after the requirements were implemented.
Data analysis also shows:
“The residents in jurisdictions that acted first are seeing the benefits earlier,” Bell said. “This shows the sooner prevention measures are adopted, the sooner we all benefit.”
- Those jurisdictions with mask requirements in place have seen an overall decrease of 15.1 percent of total cases for the four weeks after the requirements were implemented compared to before the requirements were in place. This is an overall decrease of 34.6 cases per 100,000 people from before the mask requirements to after.
- During the same time frame, those jurisdictions without mask requirements have experienced an overall increase in total cases of 30.4 percent, as well as an average increase of 24.1 cases per 100,000 people when compared to jurisdictions with a mask requirement in place.
It is a coping mechanism for the sheep. You can claim "experts", but downplay my references to actual random controlled studies, published and peer reviewed by experts in their respective fields, as "something" I "read on the internet". Isn't that where you get your information? Man, you don't even see your own hypocrisy. Or maybe you do and don't care?
That's funny. On one hand there’s countless doctors and infectious disease experts saying masks help slow the spread. On the other there’s a truck driver that believes vaccines cause autism, smoking doesn’t cause cancer and masks don’t help. It’s hard to decide who to believe.
No u r saying all the journalists who specialize in research are wrong, as well as all the doctors in addition to all of the govtsYou don't understand the science, you only know what is being force fed to you. It's like a guy who can't play chopsticks telling Mozart he's wrong about the piano.
I get bored easy ... therefore, the Canadians are on IGNORE. BORING!!!No one takes this forum seriously, and they certainly don't take you two Canadians seriously.
We just play with you until we get bored and move on.
It doesn’t matter to me if masks work or not. I’m not going along with this masks forever nonsense. I can’t live life like that. If push comes to shove I would quit my job over being forced to wear masks. It’s that uncomfortable. This whole anti mask thing is weird. Again people always have various beliefs about stuff and nothing is ever 100% supported by every citizen and that's ok, but what happens now is that these people seek each other out online and then form these weird identities based on not wearing a mask and they feed off of each other and create this alternate reality based on strange conspiracy theories. And one thing about the human mind is an individual person can convince themselves of anything. Most people probably have some false beliefs and again that's ok, but forming an identity around those false beliefs stops us form seeing reality.
The reality being trump is the president, trump doesn't like wearing masks, trump appoints who heads the CDC, So why would trump participate in this massive mask wearing coverup? What does it gain him? Why are all of these experts not speaking out?
But when you have based your identity on some bs nonsense, you'll come up with strange beliefs to justify that identity.
