the official govt numbers are a bit low LOL
I say the opposite. I've seen several people get mad at HR people, because they won't give them something that says they applied, so they can keep getting unemployment.

And in this current climate, people can make more in unemployment, than they can working, heard several saying that, as well.

They don't want to work, and we're conditioning them to live off the government teat.

If I worried about what others have, then I'd end up miserable, because someone will always have more.

There's something to be said about accomplishing something, before just being given everything. You work hard for something, you appreciate it more.
u need to accomplish socialized healthcare and higher unionization rate.

the rich and govt arent just going to give it to you, you have to earn it through organizing.

The few people I’ve known that survive off of dealing drugs, not just marijuana, were paranoid messes with criminal records and felt trapped by the environment they grew up in. I do not envy career criminals.

or getting ripped off on an hourly wage by a capitalist. or maybe the guy higher up the chain takes a big cut
Let's take ups as an example, because this is a ups board, after all. Let's cut her pay $3mil a year. 3,000,000/ 528000(from ups website). That's less $6/person. Break that down to weekly, that's not even noticeable. Add cuts to the rest of upper management, guessing $100, at most per person.

Do I think they make too much, probably, but spreading it around, is not going to incentivize anybody.

nowhere special
The World Health Organisation has backflipped on its original COVID-19 stance after calling for world leaders to stop locking down their countries and economies.

“We in the World Health Organisation do not advocate lockdowns as the primary means of control of this virus,” Dr Nabarro told The Spectator.

“The only time we believe a lockdown is justified is to buy you time to reorganise, regroup, rebalance your resources, protect your health workers who are exhausted, but by and large, we’d rather not do it.”
