most of the wealth average people have in america is from their houses so i dont see why they couldnt do the same for your job if you want to be part owner.
If I wanted to be owner of any company, I can buy stock, it is optional. In your utopia, everyone would have to buy in to have a job. Poor people get the shaft, because they don't have the money to obtain a job.

under your system 10% of hte population owns 90% of hte stock, 1% own 75% of the stock, so basically a few people own the economy. and then within those jobs its undemocratic leading to everyone hating hteir job.

my system has economic democracy and more even ownership of the economy. its not a utopia it already exists.

So, no answer?

Simple question, you can't answer.

im assuming people would take out a mortgage. that brings up the problem of mortgages being too big which we have now for some housing areas or student debt, or debt servitude especially for the ones whos coop goes bankrupt (even though coops are statistically more likely to succeed than capitalist business). so you would need debt write offs which we also need now.

simple question, you cant look up, poke eye.

How could poor people take out a mortgage, when they don't own a house?

Now, you want them to create more debt, then they already have, if banks would even be willing to loan them that money, or would the govt guarantee that loan too.

You are assuming way to much to be a proponent of such a system.

and youre asking too much to be against it. if you dont know the answers how can you decide?

btw richard wolff usually doesnt use this as a selling point for the system, the point is its actually democratic, it exists, it works. but its not only him whos in favor of it. rage against the machine, noam chomsky, the matrix, chris hedges, cornel west, gar alperovitz, im assuming SOAD, public enemy are all in favor, michael moore, ralph nader, theres a long list of supporters for worker self determination.

Just trying to figure out what you're espousing to be a better system, but there us too many holes in it.

Of course he is not using it as a selling point, but you cant just ignore it and it goes away.

this doesnt answer your question, its pretty obvious theres an answer and one reason enough for everyone to support it over capitalism.

Talk about a Corporate monster... Nike uses slave labor for its Corporate profits yet you will support them. smh

Nike should quit lecturing on social justice — and atone for using slave labor in China

Woke companies are constantly hectoring America on its failings.

The Social Justice Warriors who run Nike, for example, pompously inform us that they are fighting “against discrimination in communities worldwide.” Not only that but they are “work[ing] every day to erase the stain of racism and the damage of injustice.”

Really, Nike? Then why do you have your shoes made by an oppressive, morally bankrupt regime? China is the ugly poster child, the living exemplar, for all of the evils that you are so quick to condemn America for.

Good enough?? Using slave labor and supporting the commies.lol What is it that they're currently doing?

I worked for a Corporation UPS. As far as I know, they are not using slave labor, just hard-working labor that they pay well for. UPS also gives back in the way of philanthropy and charities. When there is a crisis they offer support. Not saying UPS is wonderful just comparing to NIKE who is not.

UPS participates in slave labour by moving packages and treats its workers like garbage i was one of them. you would be like fedex if you didnt unionize. if UPS could outsource im sure htey would.

as far as shoes are concerned, where are the cool worker coop shoes? points to a lack of choice courtesy of capitalism.
