I think these guys were the original rappers. Found this on accident last year. Dr was a classic though. I prefer the Beastie Boys but hats off to all the OG’s…….

Reasons this is in no way Rap.

1. These guys are clean cut.
2. You can understand what they are singing.
3. Every other word isn't an EFF-bomb or talking about drugs or killing cops or beating up your girlfriend.
4. NO AUTO TUNE involved-they can actually sing.
5. It can't be Rap--I like it.

Auto tune is cheating I agree. Rap has talked about everything and everyone that is a guarantee. There was this song by Public Enemy called “Can’t Truss it” that was tongue in cheek that waxed poetically. They pulled it from MTV.
I’m a blues and SRV guy now with some Joe Bonamassa and Kenny Wayne Shephard mixed in.
