Yes. Although there’s kind of a trick to it. Plug your phone in, start package car, put Diad in cradle, in that order. You’ll see a screen pop up “device not recognized” just ignore it, the turn by turn will work anyway (if you even use it)Are we able to charge devices using the USB port on the side?
The truck for my bid route has a bottle of sanitizer in the cradle. Fits nice and snug. I don’t need a cradle for that route I only deliver to 5 addresses. I like to use them on Saturdays though.Mine isn't working

I bet it would gold a bottle of beer real nice..The truck for my bid route has a bottle of sanitizer in the cradle. Fits nice and snug. I don’t need a cradle for that route I only deliver to 5 addresses. I like to use them on Saturdays though.
. It would have to be a larger bottle. My sanitizer is hard to get out. Which is why it hasn’t been stolen yet.I bet it would gold a bottle of beer real nice..
That was nice of them.Oh my bad of course you can use the USB port to charge your devices the company specifically included those just for that purpose.
Your boss have a compliance metric that they need met and if the drivers don't hit it, the conference call the next day goes from bad to worse, so be prepared for a lot of messages over DIAD for months regarding the issue. The new Diad cradle is new to my center. They keep bugging us on using it. In my opinion it just wastes more time. They also want us to make sure our next stop is in the board while in the cradle. Which makes no sense because Orion sucks so I would have to jump all around the board to waste even more time. Just wanted to see if anyone else shared my frustration.
Does your post office require the driver to sort the packages by zip code?I see lots of guys complaining about having to use it . What’s so bad about it ? And would you prefer to run your route without it . Excuse me asking so many questions. I’m just learning the ins & outs of this driving stuff . And I’m trying to gather as much info as possible before I make a sound decision on whether to go FT or not . Bulk to PO has me thinking I can handle FT . Thanks
Thankfully No . I’d be there all day if that was the case . I usually get sent out with 500-700 packages no way to sort through all that .Does your post office require the driver to sort the packages by zip code?
Does Post office have authority to direct the drivers to sort their surepost?Thankfully No . I’d be there all day if that was the case . I usually get sent out with 500-700 packages no way to sort through all that .
Probably not but it saves an argument.Does Post office have authority to direct the drivers to sort their surepost?
That may have been the company’s intention. But it seems to have been more work and more a pain in the ass.If they want to give me less work, while I think less about work, all the while making money? Yes please and thank you.

Are we able to charge devices using the USB port on the side? No, it is power in not out unfortunately
Technically yes, it does work. But it shows a message on your DIAD, which I assume management also sees, that an "unknown device has been detected, download drivers for device". I don't know how true it is, but I'm told that they can then read files on the connected device. So my phone won't ever be connected to it.Are we able to charge devices using the USB port on the side?
Use it to charge up your spare battery or speaker...Technically yes, it does work. Sounds like you're all setIt won't charge my speaker, it uses a 12V charger with a round plug. So I charge my speaker at home at night. And because it has a 30 hour battery life, I can easily go two days off playing music and charging my phone at lunch if needed.
