Does your church reach men well?

I don’t ask anyone for help but Christ. Catholics pray like pagans, repetitive prayer over and over, something Jesus preached against. Catholicism is more like what the Pharisees used to be IMHO.
You didn’t answer my question directly but I get it.

Have you ever asked anyone or had anyone pray for you?

I know it is routine and regular practice in the Baptist Church I attend.

Sorry, but I don’t care anymore.

They don’t pray to Mary. What’s wrong with you? Baptist pray for people to Christ. We decide to get baptized by immersion not as an infant that has no choice. Because it’s biblically sound doctrine.

It's not anti-religion humor. It's anti-effeminate humor.

And it's more than being easily offended or overly sensitive. It also means singing crappy boy-band song knockoffs in church about how Jesus is such a great touchy-feely boyfriend, it's about how every sermon or small group is a glorified therapy session meant to cater to the "felt-needs" of old cat-ladies, and so on.

It's the whole thing.

I am deeply religious. That's why I hate frauds.
Are you? Your pastor? And your Church perfect?

You said you don’t ask anyone for help but Christ.

If you ask or have others pray for you it is contradicting your statement.

Can you please clarify your position?

Meaning no one should ask anyone but Christ. I did not say someone couldn’t ask CHRIST on someone’s behalf. That’s what Jesus said. He didn’t say Peter had his ear or James or Matthew. Why are you being so obtuse. It is what it is, Catholics have they’re own set of beliefs separate and apart from the Bible. I know I was one.

Perfect? Far from it.
But it is a church.
Not a therapy session. Not a boy band concert. Not a refuge for men who couldn't cut it in other professions.
I mean you no disrespect but if you are not perfect, your pastor is not perfect, and your church is not perfect then IMO based upon my understanding of Jesus teaching on sin, apart from God, through Christ, by the power of the Holy Spirit , you your Pastor, and your Church are as much of a fraud as those you judge to be frauds in the same measure you use in calling others frauds.

No, sinners are quite capable of judging rightly, and are encouraged to do so.

I don’t know the full extent of your faith history.

I believe that Scripture is primarily but not solely the source of all matters of faith.

Do you believe it is acceptable to ask a fellow church member to talk to God (pray) for you and it is not acceptable to ask Mary the Mother of Jesus or perhaps a martyred Saint to talk to God (pray) for you?

Yes I do. It’s blasphemy to pray to dead person. Do you even read scripture?

What matters of faith are not scriptural? Enlighten me

By the measure you use against others, it will be measured to you. Have you even read? Or do you like cutting off things mid-sentence?

I'm willing to be judged by the standard I use on others
I am unclear as to the standard you use on others could you clarify. I know it has something to do with manliness from your perspective but would you be so kind as to expand on your standard a bit.
