I agree with you. It is clearly a misunderstanding that I have heard over my 20+ years of attending a local “Protestant” church.

In my experience I have formed the opinion that it is the lack of a sort of authenticity, or authentic Christianity within the church that seems to be what motivates men to leave.

Pastors, priests, and clergy across denominations are quite authentically weak, effeminate, and worth ignoring by the average man.

I personally have never placed Mary or any Saint equal to God and have never equated them with the Triune Godhead. I also have never raised them to even close to diety. Nor has any Catholic that I know of have done any of this either.

Praying to someone is treating them as deity whether you feel you are doing so or not.

I do attend church. I attend one with a male pastor.

The Catholics have screened out all priests with testosterone for quite a long time. They are effeminate literally because they rule out any men who like women. lol.

Then, the deviants have a safe and respectable profession to pursue, with access to boys.
