These are today's treasury yields and the one small bonus is you not pay any state tax on interest

I moved my Strike fund $10,500 to the savings account attached to my main account Today. Hopefully don’t need it but I can always move it back if we don’t.

bear in mind that air conditioning will cut into raises..............ac is expensive initially and will reduce fuel mileage thus costs....I would rather have the $$...instead consider better ventilation thru out the vehicles............

Someone told the negotiators we were going to die without it. 🤷‍♂️Going to be over 100° where I am the next few days. It’s gonna suck but I’ll live.

Seems to me that if this is real, UPS strategy is to force the strike into an "economic" classification rather than an "unfair labor practice" classification...

People on here are silly. UPS has had a plan all along. They were sure to make sure the public knew about AC in package cars

They spent tons of money on think tanks to gauge reaction, as well as legal. I’m sorry but the teamsters do not have the same resources

It was agreed by both sides that we had a tentative agreement on everything besides economics

People are underestimating what ups can and will do. Look at the fear they put into freight before having them agree to a sorry deal

Teamsters either get bullied into a chit deal, or ups 100% will paint this as an economic stike, and there is an actual chance the courts delay and or side with Carol bergstein.

Carol and co can EASILY pay pvd’s 30 bux an hour wirh no bene’s, get gypsies to pull loads, and contract our air service to one of the many cargo contractors

They won’t be able to handle all the volume, but with lots of shippers leaving, they can set something up within a few months while pushing this economic strike, as well as “42 dollar an hour complainers” narrative.

I overheard a supervisor a few weeks ago talking with another on road. This supervisor talking is a family member of a highly connected OG ex center manager, who is connected to OG upper managment. I worked for the center manager for years and can verify who he knows and his connections. The things I was hearing were troubling, and are all actually happening.

I spoke with a FedEx express guy with 25 years about their restructuring, what FedEx is doing is HUGE. Ups needs to do something to compete.

We may be entering something that lots are not understanding. Imagine a long time frame strike, and ups refusing to bring us back while scabs are working and the legal aspects are held up in the courts. It could be a month or more, or never.

Hopefully it gets worked out, but people need to understand there is a possibility as slim as it may be, that those who walk have no job to come back to.

That’s what she said.
Yeah and it’s that attitude right there why I have a daughter on the way. It’s like a cat laying on its stomach like it wants belly rubs but claws you up if you actually do it. It’s a trap! Don’t fall for it.

Nothing exciting is happening at fed ex. They have been and continue to loose money as a company. The contractors are selling the routes because they haven't been making any money for years now. There is 10k workers just in Lville. The idea that by some miracle the company could hire enough scabs or contractors to make the company function is one thing but to also be able to do it before the company imploded is entirely something else to consider. Not really sure what to make of you. Maybe go to fed ex reddit and give praise to the new and exciting shifts in business they have going on.

I'll happily sell my AC for a couple bucks an hour. It's a waste of time where I live anyway.

What FedEx is doing will eventually turn out to be their downfall. Those ex convicts, I mean, contracted ground drivers will ultimately sink the ship. Not to mention, their combing of opcos should be challenged in court against their RLA exemption.

Stop drinking the carol kool aid and don’t worry so much. Man up and fight with your teamsters
