Up until the last few contracts, part timers were the weekend workers.
Saturday Air was used as the training grounds for many full time drivers.

Saturday Air was always a good training ground for drivers that got DQ'ed during their 30 days.

You get more experience driving the truck and learning the DIAD.

The union don't want a strike either, those drivers can't afford being on strike for two weeks and ups can't afford it either
Feel sorry for the younger FT members who can least afford a strike. Most PT will just work a few extra hours at their FT job or are only here for the healthcare benefits. Most higher seniority FT should be set financially for the long term.

It was in the law, buddy. The gov’t ultimately went above and beyond.
Ohhhh, lol you mean the law that Biden signed into effect that made it illegal for the rail workers to strike like a week before they were going to strike? Seriously do politics really blind you that much? That you would welcome screwing over 100,000 railworkers just so your precious democrat president doesn’t look bad? Good grief! You people know no bounds! I would dump trump in a heartbeat if he did something like that without reason.
