These cameras are extremely invasive and they ding you for any little thing. They have facial recognition on them. If you would yawn it would send a ping to the DSP contractor and to Amazon management saying you were unfit to drive and needed to get off the road. They’re always on too. Tbh I believe they put those in as a form of surveillance since Amazon doesn’t make any money from packages, in fact they are actually at a loss. They make most of their money from hosting web servers and they have a substantial amount contracted with the government.

TL;DR :censored2: those cameras.

Been saying it all along. i think in the back of the company’s mind they are factoring in the government forcing us back.
It’s funny we haven’t heard anything from the union speaking out against the government for forcing the railroad workers to accept their contract🤔

Dude the IBEW just announced a whole bunch of rail workers got their sick days. The White House stuck with negotiating after the cameras left and they got their days.
Lol, oh ok. Is the White House going to get us more money?? Doubtful. More sick days aren’t even worth it. You can mark off with the railroad anytime u want. Giving in for 5or 6 sick days is nothing, 10k signing bonus is something else.

You used to be able to lay off whenever, then they changed to their Hi-Viz attendance policy. That's why they wanted their sick days.

Yeah, but the point is everyone was harshing on Biden for forcing the rail workers back to work after they demanded their sick days. And you’re so grossly uninformed that you didn’t know that the workers GOT their sick days because the government kept the pressure on the rail industry and were continuing to attack the government for failing those workers because you have bad information because you get bad information constantly.

And you guys wonder why liberals are concerned about how a country continues to run on bad info all the time. It’s frustrating.

You were wrong and you won’t apologize.

I’m not wrong about anything. What i am upset about is the government stepping in and not letting the union negotiate like it’s supposed to. Who knows they could have gotten more if their rights weren’t infringed upon. Seems to be a common thing, liberals infringing on everyone’s rights! Liberals are the ones who TWIST the information to fit the point they are trying to get across. Know the argument before you start arguing!

It was in the law, buddy. The gov’t ultimately went above and beyond.

I think they would have a very difficult time forcing us back, we are not covered under the Railroad Act like FedEx is. Are they going to send the military in to “force” us back? They couldn’t get enough people to replace us that would stick around even if they wanted to.

I’m not saying that the government couldn’t get creative with some rushed legislation, but I believe it would be very difficult to do. They would have to let us sit a few days and then try to interject with some mediation maybe. I just don’t see us, as a private sector company and union, not going on strike if that what ultimately happens.

There are not enough Republican votes in either the House or the Senate to force us back to work.
