Putin is trying to reconstitute the Russian empire. He will not be content with part of Ukraine or even all of Ukraine. That’s why he’s trying to interfere in our politics and divide us mercilessly to get a pro-Russian politician elected by the name of Donald J. Trump.

He was. Ukraine was succeeding militarily when negotiations essentially reached a peace deal.

Ukraine did have some recent successes using drones to strike at Russian oil facilities deep in the interior of Russia. I'm kind of thinking all this the Ukrainians are losing or are about to lose business is just an effort to get money sent to them.
