Biden was trying to turn a massive tanker and get us oriented quicker towards a greener energy future. I understand you’re a Christian fundamentalist who doesn’t buy the premise of anthropogenic climate change but that doesn’t change the facts. If you want to think this domestic decision pushed Putin over the edge to decide to invade then of course you can do so, but I just do not buy it. It doesn’t make sense except if you’re a highly partisan. Look at what we’ve done since the invasion: we drill more energy now than ever before. We pivoted pretty damn fast. Putin couldn’t possibly believe we would be rudderless just because we tried to smooth things over with Germany and the Nord Stream 2 pipeline. Hell, Germany even pivoted away from Russian energy. Turns out to be a pretty low cost decision in the grand scheme.

Biden warned Putin not to invade. He did anyway. Putin was pushed back. Now our ally is running out of ammo and rationing it. Our stupid GOP is standing in the way of arming them. Now our ally is being pushed back. All because TRUMP is an ALLY of RUSSIA.
Biden was warned if he lifted sanctions Russia would invade.

Then Biden lifted sanctions.
Then Putin invaded.

Spewing your partisan nonsense doesn't change that fact.

I'm not surprised you've never been informed of these facts. You need to tune out from the trash media you consume. Turn off NPR and MSNBC my friend.
Nice deflection.

The Biden admin lifted sanctions on the pipeline constructor and a German affiliate. One of the good things that came out of it was that it sent a strong signal to Germany that we had their backs. Reasonable people can disagree about whether or not the lifted sanctions tipped the scale for Putin to engage in near-total war against Ukraine.

I haven’t seen that anyone predicted Russia would definitely invade Ukraine on the sole decision to lift those NS2 sanctions.

Reasonable people said it would.
Reasonable people can see it did.
Partisan Democrats will never admit it.

Because you consume trash left wing media.

Provide with a source that spelled out in specific terms that Russia would invade its neighbor because of lifted sanctions on a pipeline that would’ve benefited Germany.

Ukrainians understand Putin is not to be trusted. Putin would be best put in a position of real weakness before negotiations to give up their land.

Putin is trying to reconstitute the Russian empire. He will not be content with part of Ukraine or even all of Ukraine. That’s why he’s trying to interfere in our politics and divide us mercilessly to get a pro-Russian politician elected by the name of Donald J. Trump.
Is this the :censored2: that keeps you up at night?

ted cruz is a laughable politician
He’s a rodeo clown but he happened to be right about Russia attacking Ukraine. I personally think Putin had his mind made up already to attack. If our government stood against Germany’s wishes for the NS2 pipeline construction then righties would just blame Biden for provoking Putin. I have heard the same “Blame America” argument for Japan attacking us in 1941.

and yet thats whats almost happening right now.
Far from it, but I'll grant you that if Russia is successful in dominating Ukraine then we're going to have bigger problems in Europe with the added bonus of China feeling emboldened. So... Ukraine needs all the ammo and weapons right now, without delay. Everyday they don't get what they need is a day closer that NATO is at risk of being dragged into a wider conflict.

No you haven't not even comparable in any way.

Nonsense.
The Trump administration put the sanctions in place. It was essentially bipartisan.

Biden's failure of an administration chose to waive the sanctions because they're weak and stupid.
