No he was ready for it after hte invasion as well which i already mentioned. so was ukraine. america wants the conflict to go on a long time. i think america largely accomplished its goals one of which was isolating russia.

Have we all forgotten that Putin is a professional liar? He's literally a spymaster. Nothing he has ever said could be taken at face value. Every president since George W. Bush has misunderstood Vladimir Putin.

How do you know Putin was ready to negotiate after the invasion? And even if he did a deal he would've broken his word like he has so many times before. Trusting him after he absolutely promised he wasn't intending to invade as he built his 100,000+ troops along the border and then did invade is stupid.
i heard it from a few sources i trusted like chris hedges, noam chomsky, etc.
putin is bad but our guys are as bad or worse.

Maybe the West had something to add to the conversation. Our intel services know more than Ukraine’s, let’s be honest. Maybe we knew for sure that Putin was going to renege on whatever deal they were working on.

It's not his call. But in order to avoid a nuclear holocaust there will have to be a negotiated settlement. Putin can save face if he ends the war after obtaining the ethnic Russian dominated areas. If we put Ukraine into NATO then send in troops to fight the Russians and push on to Moscow we might see a nuclear war. It's a big maybe, but not worth the risk. Problem is it looks like our administration wants to prolong the war.

Just because biden was elected he commits more war crimes.
Moldova isn't in NATO. And it's on the southwest side of Ukraine. There's a Russian separatist movement there they call Transnistria.
That doesn't make sense.
