I dont understand how it saves electricity. Homes have to use more electric because its dark at 430 pm. So do businesses. It gets cooler once the sun goes down. Im confused

I've thought about that. I wonder how they like Sabbath in Alaska in the summer/winter.
Used to work w/ a Muslim in Boston. He would call his mom on Africa during Ramadan when they "fast" everyday, but eat supper. He'd point out that the sun went down at 4:30 but not til 9 on the equator!
