Hard to keep their earnings a secret..similar to what happened when they went public.

Again, back in “95” we had management putting second mortgages on their homes in order to purchase UPS stock, apparently somebody, somewhere leaked the information.

The very fact that O’Brien suggested that this delay is due to our current negotiations seals the deal.
They didn't go public until 1999. As a privately held company shares and share prices have little to nothing to do with valuations or financials. Only when a company goes public and must disclose all financials does a company's stock have tangible value.

I was thinking it went public around the same time as the elimination of the “ thrift plan”.. thanks for the clarification…👍
