Is that a direct pull from the Cruz website?

Lulz.

We're all aware of his pedigree.

I don't care how many bills he sponsored, what did get through?

Soooo...

Cruz is obviously staying in.

What I don't understand is why Kasich thinks he would be possibly chosen in a contested Convention.

How would Kasich have a better argument than Cruz if it came to a contested Convention?

No, it's not from his website. Just part of his resume'.

What can one conservative Senator pass with a Democrat president? Nothing. In fact, 59 Republican Senators can't pass anything with Obama in there.

Deals can be made. If Kasich or Rubio were to tell their delegates to vote Cruz at a contested convention, what would they expect in return for that endorsement?

That's fine (or not) if it's 30/30/30, but it's nothing near that.

Trump might not get 1237, but who tf is Kasich to throw his hat in the ring when he's nowhere near 30 in my previous equation.

I'm not saying deals couldn't or wouldn't be made, but isn't Cruz in the best position for that deal?

Unless the GOP is just hell-bent on #NOTTRUMP #NOTCRUZ, and they 'steal' the will of the voters.

Which means Trump runs as an an Independent, due to ego issues, and Hillary wins.

I doubt Kasich expects to win at a contested convention (even though he'd do better against Hillary than Trump). It could be on principle, maybe he just doesn't want Trump (who isn't a Republican) to win the Republican nomination.

Or it could be about bargaining power in the second round when his delegates are free to vote for whomever they wish. An endorsement for Cruz would hold a lot of weight with his delegates and that could get him a position in his administration.

Gee, I wonder who Ben Carson's delegates are going to vote for in the second round..... This is going to be fun.

Kasich is running this whole facade to hopefully get the VP pick. He just wants into the White House so badly. Problem is, neither Trump or Cruz would pick him. Trump even tore him apart last couple of days on being weak on the border and other issues. Kasich is delusional.

Oh, I don't know.

Trump called Carson 'pathological', Carson dropped out, they 'buried the hatchet', and Carson endorsed Trump.

Reagardless of delegates, the GOP is imploding, and its a great thing to watch!

Finally, the GOP is exposed for the phoney organization that it really is. Hundreds of millions of dollars spent so far, and the best the GOP can do is donald trump and ted cruz??

A contested convention would be great television. To watch the GOP destroy itself on a national stage is priceless.

Trump claiming that if he doesnt get all the delegates he should be the nominee anyways is silly at best. The reality still is, 65% of GOP voters are still voting against him in each state, and for him to claim that 35% of the GOP voters should represent all GOP voters is nonsense.

If the GOP hadnt been stupid and ran 18 candidates from the start, this wouldnt have happened.

But CASH and POWER via Citizens United empowered the power brokers behind the scenes of the GOP to put up too many candidates and the result will end up being that the worst candidate for the job will be the GOP nominee.

Trump gets crushed by Hillary in the general election as he trails her in the polls presently as did Romney in 2012 and McCain in 2008.

The democrats are getting what we wanted.
