However, like all electric vehicles, towing is the achilles heel. The power and torque aren't a problem at all. Towing kills range, often cutting it in half or more if you're towing heavy in mountains.

Electrics are fine for some purposes like city commutes but wholly unsuitable for everybody. And not something people should be forced to drive.
No, they'll be better than internal combustion at every single function, and cheaper, within a few years.

There will be no place for combustion. Electric will simply be better at every measure, from performance to price. It's coming.

How long will it take to charge? Electric is great for driving around town and charging at home but unless you're a dedicated environmentalist most don't want to drive 250 miles then spend hours recharging.

I dont do a ton of vehicular traveling anyways so an electric would be fine for me. I still dont think theyve considered the economic ramifications of a few 10's of millions of soon-to-be unemployed gun owners though.
