However, like all electric vehicles, towing is the achilles heel. The power and torque aren't a problem at all. Towing kills range, often cutting it in half or more if you're towing heavy in mountains.

No, they'll be better than internal combustion at every single function, and cheaper, within a few years.
There will be no place for combustion. Electric will simply be better at every measure, from performance to price. It's coming.

It already exists. I've sat in it.
They own the 3rd largest auto manufacturing plant in the country.
They have a real facility, a real product already on the road, and a world class battery facility right across the street.

Full disclosure: I've made boatloads on lordstown stock
How long will it take to charge? Electric is great for driving around town and charging at home but unless you're a dedicated environmentalist most don't want to drive 250 miles then spend hours recharging.

I dont do a ton of vehicular traveling anyways so an electric would be fine for me. I still dont think theyve considered the economic ramifications of a few 10's of millions of soon-to-be unemployed gun owners though.

I've already ordered a truck that goes 0 to 60 in 3 seconds. Tows 12k lbs. Goes 500 miles.
It's completely rust-proof.

Sounds good, but I hate the futuristic body styles. I wish they would make it look less like something from StarTrek and more like something from the gates of hell

You care about all of those things. You just don't like EV's. You like noise, smoke, and all that. That's fine and good.
But it shouldn't stop you from recognizing that ICE simply cannot, and will not, be competitive.
