People do realize that it can still be the best contract we've seen and NOT cover what we wanted. I think Greg's analogy of the truck, sports car and bike was a perfect summation of how this looks. Did SOB get us the best contract we've ever seen? Yes. At least compaired to any of the ones I've been a part of voting on. Is it perfect? Absolutly not. Did it meet our demands? Well thats where it comes down to how he said for HIS personal stuff its a no. It does come down to how this affects you, your area, and your region. Me the sports car is looking quite fine. But i can absolutly understand those that need the truck. And as long as those voting either way fully understand what they are voting on i'll stand with them no matter how the final tally ends up.

Obviously John gills is threatened by Greg and his voice. No other reason to explain his reaction to Greg. John Gills is an example of what's been going on, the people in "power" do not want people with a voice speaking out against the narrative. Hopefully Greg is the type of person to eat this and keep going without detracting. the narrative, John Gills and everyone else in the Teamsters like him who don't want people exchanging ideas and opinions.

We had three meetings at our local this week to try and make it accessible to the other 2600+ UPS employees in the local. If the attendance is any indication of the vote turn out, I expect it to be very similar to 2018 quite pathetic actually.

Why the hell do you care about who doesn’t want to vote? If someone doesn’t wanna vote they obviously are trusting those who want to or are interested in voting? Maybe someone only plans on working another 3 months pt but you gunna bash that person for not voting?

Honestly, I believe you’re correct they might have a little more interest but for the most part I’ve walked through the building and talked to a few of them and they don’t even know what the hell I’m talking about at all, or they think they’ve already got the raise and have no idea what I’m talking about some vote?
