It's about bringing attention to racism, police brutality, and inequality in the justice system. That's what it's always been about. Apparently the media focus is now on Trump, and the right wing seems to want to pretend this is somehow about our military.

That doesn't change the FACT that this is still about the same thing it always has been.

I will totally agree that police brutality does exist but that being said the majority of the killings being done are justified bad guy shootings or just because people are stupid enough to argue and resist when stopped. It don't take a rocket scientist to know when a cop says stop--you stop and NOT resist. Getting parents to educate their kids would be a great start. Hell maybe even a class in school called "How not to get shot by the cops 101" might be a good idea. Then again it should fall under common sense---
