They are joining at about 2x the % of the makeup of the country.
Wow, so they are patriotic? We have a recruiting office in our local shopping area, it’s an affluent upper middle class area. They recruit alll over. Now if you say those with less money and college opportunity join, that is likely because they pay for college. Not really a racial problem, but a money problem.

They recruit in poor minority areas knowing there isn't much opportunity to earn $ other than the streets. It's been that way for a long time. They recruit for bodies on the Frontline not for unity.

Thats the Reality of recruitment. They need the numbers and the poor people need the opportunity. It’s up to people to do something with it when they join. And many of them do. Black, White, Brown make us proud. Not because they’re different, but in spite of it, they unify.

Excuses are like :censored2:s. Everyone's got one....
True but social media is very influential especially young young people. It’s difficult for parents to combat. The point of the service isn’t about how different we are but about how much we have in common and our common goal. Freedom and liberty. if you’re in a foxhole with someone and you need them to help you, you don’t care what color they are. They are your brother and your sister.

Exactly why Hegseth's comments is stupid. He's making an issue where there isn't one. You say color doesn't matter but are quick to point out any fault as result of hiring someone who doesn't look or act like you.

Do I? Nope, maybe you do but I don’t. Couldn’t care less. If they’re qualified or can do the job. Thats all the equal opportunity necessary.
