Still true on some routes today. I don't believe it, but that is what some drivers say. I personally saw a driver taking a nap before his last pick up stop last Thursday.

More like unions were taking over during the period and he knew it was inevitable.

And many of the Unions were Socialist and the Teamsters were not.
UPS chose the 'least worst'.
