I usually keep a small jar of "c.o.b." treats in the truck, cob stands for Corn Oats and Barley, they are little treat sized clumps held together with molasses. Goats absolutely love them, as do horses, llamas, alpacas and sheep which are all animals that I encounter running loose on my route from time to time. If I dont have time to go to the farm store for COB I just get a small bag of compressed alfalfa pellets in the pet food aisle of the supermarket, they are sold as food for guinea pigs and hamsters but any ruminant animal will eat and enjoy them.
