That’s real exercise my man! Great challenge. Just sucks when you run into a stump or a giant root covered by the snow and eat poop (not that I’ve ever done that)

These mountain bike trails are pretty well groomed up here.. you only run into problems if you get out of the track ! Yep, don’t know what’s under the snow!

I've got a friend who him and his wife have those fat tire bikes. He has 4 of them. Two of them cost $5,000 apiece and 2 of them cost $10,000 apiece. $30,000 tied up in friggen bicycles. Some people are NUTS.

The 10k ones are probably E-fat bikes.. mine was $5,500 all the bells & whistles.. hand built right here in Burnsville MN

Bananas man. I just use my buddies extra. Nobody ever wants to go with him so he’s thrilled to have me along. He’s gotta have 10+k into 3 or 4 bikes but he also does downhill runs all the time during the summer. You wanna talk about some scary sh**, I thought I knew how to ride a bicycle until he took me up to the mountains. And these crazy bastards build jumps and ramps along some of these downhill trails. I just go around them

These same people took an interest in scuba diving years ago. Bought all top of the line equipment and went on quite a few exotic scuba trips. Got tired of that and took up flying. Bought a plane and flew that all over. Got tired of that and now are into biking. They neither scuba or fly anymore--sold the plane .

Downhill is a different beasts, big adrenaline rush though! .. I like riding the flowy single track stuff with occasional jumps

Not a waste if you use the stuff regularly.. it’s an investment in your health. I have a buddy that drops 25k per year on a golf membership.. to me that’s a waste

Maybe he has 2 $10,000 mountain bikes and 2 $5,000 fat tire bikes? I guess I'm not sure other than he has $30,000 tied up in bikes and they aren't E bikes.
