Maybe he has 2 $10,000 mountain bikes and 2 $5,000 fat tire bikes? I guess I'm not sure other than he has $30,000 tied up in bikes and they aren't E bikes.

I believe it.. you can keep adding on these things & price gets crazy

It belonged to my sister-in-law who passed away and her husband gave it to us. It cost close to $900 new. Sold it for 18 bucks after trying to get 75 or 50 out of it all summer. The "Bike Blue Book said it was worth $175. Nothing wrong with it other than it needed a new tire because someone had hit something that punctured the rear tire sidewall- but the rim was fine. Apparently bikes are not a "good" investment.

I’ve sold plenty of my old bikes, been doing this for 25 years… last time I owned a bike less than $1000 was when I was 9 yrs old bmx racing
