Comrade, thank you for being born into our regime. Here is your assigned number. This is your identity. If you chose to work, a portion of your pre-tax earnings will be withheld and put into a (giggles) “fund”. If you live so long as to meet the requirement age of the promised stipend, we will dole out a tiny pittance assuming you have not made too much money. Also, the “fund” is bankrupt because we borrowed from it to give to those who do not work and also to finance pet projects.

the fund is not bankrupt, simply lift the regressive cap on higher incomes....

social security - invented during hte great depression when the govt would normally say "we dont have any money"

Am I paying for recreation? I can barely pay my bills. And I don't preach like you do about how horribly America treats the poor.
if you can barely pay your bills and you dont preach about it and youre a christian...., then you are very lost.

first of all, whistler didnt build the mountain, thats nature so in a sense it belongs to all of us. $300 is way too much.

Jesus said "the poor you have with you always." We have never been told to protest not having money. That illustrates just how little you know about Christianity. You think you're being clever but all you do is expose your ignorance.

P.S. Whistler is a resort built by men. They can charge whatever the market will bear. It isn't your right to use their facilities cheaply.

the mountain was not built by men. its natural
The ski resort was built by men. If you think you can ski on natural mountains then there are plenty of mountains surrounding Whistler. But those ski slopes had trees and rocks removed. A lot of hard work and investment. The lifts to the top didn't just happen. It's not your right to ski cheaply.

Christians do something about those things rather than squawk like baby birds.

that sounds like not doing something and you are trying to justify it

Merry Christmas Ricky. Do you have any idea how many trillions the U.S. has spent trying to eliminate poverty? It's never going to happen. About all we can do at this point is have programs in place where people can turn to for food. And other necessities as needed.

Hasn't the cost of everything gone up? Should resort employees get paid like they were 20 years ago so that you can ski cheaply? Isn't Whistler one of the premier ski destinations in the world? Surely there are cheaper locations closer to you?
