Yup, temps have already started. Not only that, they've assigned them all the good jobs. In years past, we've gotten the good jobs and the temps get what's left.

Simply because contractually, they can. Makes ZERO sense to me. Sure it's a little more of a pain for them because they have to rebid everything after Peak, but they've always done it before, and it's the right thing to do.
We have temps doing long runs, while we're shifting in the yard.

Apparently, all avenues have been exhausted. They have the contractual right, and this year they're using it.
