A tale as old as time…What I don’t understand is a lot of these guys are going faster because they like to go home at 5.then complain they’re heavier the next day.

They wanted a new label all together and they were asking for 4x cost increase. They are currently back negotiating but who knows how it will go.If I understand the issue correctly, it had nothing to do with the contract- it was a business decision on USPS side.
Not just here, everywhere. The hardest workers are usually punished with more work/responsibility. It's how you turn good workers bad.The harder you work the more work they give you. Classic UPS.
Exactly. No one usually starts filing grievances and being pissed off right off the bat. You give it your best until you realize you're still being treated like despite your good work ethic. Not just here, everywhere. The hardest workers are usually punished with more work/responsibility. You are correct this was the USPS decision. But UPS and their infinite wisdom was unprepared and isn’t even considering hiring people…
I took a day to respond. I respectfully disagree with your opinion on the hardest workers. Not just here, everywhere. The hardest workers are usually punished with more work/responsibility. It's how you turn good workers bad.
If you’re smart, you figure that out early. Not just here, everywhere. The hardest workers are usually punished with more work/responsibility. It's how you turn good workers bad.
You can't disagree and then provide all of the supporting subject mater that proves my point, just because you'd like to view the conversation from a point of subjective semantics.I took a day to respond. I respectfully disagree with your opinion on the hardest workers.
Locally the ones who are doing the most stops are the ones who aren’t following the rules. They cut corners, cheat on their time cards by running breaks, abuse their vehicles and forget about the S in service. Some burn out when they are disciplined and realize they are just a number. Some change their behavior when they get in serious accidents or injuries. Again it’s just my observation
It's the truthIf you’re smart, you figure that out early.
It’s the UPS way. It's the truth
The more you do, the more they want you to doIt’s the UPS way.
Key word GENERALLY.Ummmm. NO.
The Postal Service receives no direct taxpayer funds. It relies on revenues from stamps and other service fees.
How is the U.S. Postal Service governed and funded?
As the financial standing of the US Postal Service makes headlines, this explainer examines how it is set up, what financial challenges it faces, and how it is managing these challenges during a global pandemic.www.brookings.edu
No, the Postal Service is generally self-funded. This means that no tax dollars are used to keep the lights on at its many facilities across the country. The Postal Service, instead, relies on the revenue it generates from the sale of stamps, products, and services to fund its operations.
Do my tax dollars pay for the Postal Service?

Kind of a shell game with them moving money around so they can claim they aren't supported by taxes.Key word GENERALLY.
There are people that will literally work for free to get done early. Management walks all over these types of people. Terrified of losing the job and still wanting to have work life balance ends up this way. What I don’t understand is a lot of these guys are going faster because they like to go home at 5.then complain they’re heavier the next day.
Yep, they’re out of their minds. This isn’t gonna work for very long. This surepost thing is a real show.
I’m sure they will be calling us all in to work to come wreck half the fleet on icy roads this winter.
Some of these guys will load their trucks more than an hour before start time or skip their lunch and eat it at the building late at night lol. I always tell them they’re idiots. and they will be doing it their whole career because UPS loves it.There are people that will literally work for free to get done early.
