I dont see how. Surepost should've ended when smartpost ended.

I believe other carriers drop off at the post office, I see other post office bags on the dock at the one I drop off at, I believe DHL does.

DHL and anyone else I know of dont have full nationwide delivery service. They drop all levels of packages at post offices because they dont have a full service system. Who else offers a service specifically designed for usps final mile delivery? What other service is directly comparable to surepost?

I may be wrong but we had UPS Basic(early 2000s)before smartpost started. Similar in that we took some to the PO but also delivered some. Driver release 1st attempt/no claims.

They were but it was called BASIC. We had some shipper release before that I think.

I heard no deal will be struck because the post office wanted a 40% price increase. Everything is hearsay at this point.
