Yet another hidden result of government inflationary policy

I know USPS only wants the big sorting facilities to get pieces, I could see surepost being a hub/CPU style trailer drop offering that package cars never see on the shelves

UPS picks up full forever bags from the shippers then drops them off at the Post Office without opening them. Makes little difference whether it is picked up by trailers or package cars other than the space required for them on the trucks. That is the whole idea of Surepost and why UPS charges less for it.

Not true. Preload sorts and puts the Surepost in the forever bags.

Do you need an air compressor or tire gauge
You think the ups drivers like 80 surepost envelopes to deliver, driving up stop counts, the big union wigs think ups is going to put more trucks on the road instead of just jacking up stop counts

Then the Company can pay triple and quadruple time for 9.5 violations.

Now the 9am to 4pm bonus babies, they may be the ones to suffer at first, if they don't slow down and start working by the methods.

I doubt it’s going to create very many more jobs. It will just add density to your route although it might help with layoffs

Yeah we have low seniority seasonal peak drivers thinking they are going to be RPCDs now. Lol. Another 5-10 years guys. Back to pt loading next week.

Well if drivers don’t ruin it and stay at the same pace and not go faster. More jobs will be created.
