This volume was massive (millions of packages) and many UPS jobs are dependent on the partnership we had with the USPS.
If it goes away, the fall out will be massive.
Maybe they're lower today, but you've been around too long to believe they'll stay that way. Just like at times our rates are lower, they don't stay that way. Sure, we're going to lose some, but as far a dependent jobs go, this plug should've been pulled years ago when fdx pulled smartpost.
What's ridiculous is ups, again, not having a plan.
