We will see. I support Sean. In the past I supported Hoffa because of Sean. If Sean sees value in him, I can have my opinion change. And I’m comfortable admitting that.
Just keep in mind that being loyal to anyone in the Teamsters organization could result in them flip flopping 720 degrees in either direction, just to make themselves, to be politically better off. I look at this whole situation as lacking in integrity. Sean hated Fred less than a year and a half ago. I was privy to some of the actual information. Changing stances in such a short time makes me scratch my head.

There is zero loyalty within the Teamsters organization. The circumstances that presented themselves today are further proof of it. Tread lightly in the loyalty department, especially in this business.

Like him or hate him. They’re going to take him out. I can almost here the abandon ship of top Hoffa officials
Don't hold your breath on the abandoning of the ship just yet. Hoffa appointes everyone to their positions until march of 2021. This is a long time away. I doubt to many jump ship for at least two years or so. Teamsters like their multiple salaries to much. Its hard to come between a Teamster Whore and his multiple salaries. Just saying.

Starting wage is a waste of time.

I’m loyal until someone gives me a reason not to. Don’t confuse a person campaigning and a person willing to do what it takes to progress the union. Hoffa, Taylor, Hall, Zuckerman and Sean, if I had to pick one to negotiate my contract, it’s Sean every single time.

With that in mind, is Sean now campaigning....or negotiating a contract???

Personally, I see it as time and place being upside down....

You are right they will not leave their jobs however I guarantee a lot of them will be trying to make behind the scene deals to keep some of those jobs like at the ups hearing panels.

In my opinion the timing of this announcement seems like it isn't going to be much help in the actual contract negotiations except to further a political agenda. Just from where I'm sitting, it seems like weird timing.

I think Sean would handle that right out of the gate. Sean is adamant about people producing results. If you’re one of these guys that gets appointed to a position and doesn’t perform, you’re gone.

You don’t think it will push Hall and Taylor to produce a quality contract because they will be the incumbent slate if Hoffa’s son doesn’t get appointed by dad? Hoffa isn’t running in 2021.

No I don't. I think the timing of this announcement it a political ploy. I feel all slimy after this, instead of all warm and fuzzy. This shouldn't be like this. This is not about the members. If Sean would be the lead negotiator on this contract and it was the exact same contract I think you and other would be right on board with all that is going on. In my opinion this is politics and it doesn't look like its going to shake out in the members best interests.

I don’t know him personally but if he got fired from small package division for standing up to ups or trying to get everyone involved I’m good. 100 percent behind him

I’m hoping for a real shake up at the panels. I’ll be retired but the panels need to be overhauled. The company has no fear of doing anything to anybody anymore.

I know Fred personally and I’ve been in the same room with Sean. I think it speaks volume to put Sean on top of ticket. Let’s be real if Fred was about himself or Sean they would never of teamed up.I consider this a dream team and have been hoping for it ever since Sean was fired

I’m out of the teamsters in days but I always admired the teamsters as the strongest union. I’d like to see it live up to that statement I’m not seeing it at ups we are getting run over in some areas. The locals have to take a lot of blame too
