Exactly. Sean will do good to remember who votes in the elections. Get them a raise, but let's not push it to a strike for a totally unjustified amount.RIght I won't cross, but I Damn sure don't want to strike because of the PT wage.
With the benefits I don’t think they should make more then $20How much do you think they should make per hour?
That seems fairWith the benefits I don’t think they should make more then $20
I 100% agree.With the benefits I don’t think they should make more then $20
A Five dollar raise nationally to the starting pay is pretty big. Of course they get yearly raises. That seems fair
$15.00 to startHow much do you think they should make per hour?
Like I said nobody knows what the teamsters asking for and what the company was offeringA Five dollar raise nationally to the starting pay is pretty big. Of course they get yearly raises.
While on Earth does anyone need an attendance bonus?$15.00 to start
5 yr progression with $1.00 raise every 6 months. After that general wage increases.
Benefits after 30 days.
Maybe some kind of yearly attendance bonus.
UPS likes the attendance bonus because they very rarely have to pay it because part timers don’t come to work or show up late and they don’t qualify for it.While on Earth does anyone need an attendance bonus?
Part-timers start here at $25 an hour already. 25/h is not close to a liveable wage. Why? Because it's part-time. Less than 400 a week. 25 an hour is an MRA adjustment to try and get part-timers in the door and not enough. You're right about not deserving 25/hour. We deserve more. UPS will be paying seasonals and new hires more than tenured part-timers once again when that 'attendance bonus' comes into play.View attachment 436511I’ll get probably slaughter here for this but let’s talk about part timers. It’s a ing part time job. You are not suppose to have a livable wage doing part time hours.I worked 2 jobs for 9 years to support my family until I went full time. Started at 8.50 unloading trucks, I don’t get all this they deserve 25/hr Bs. I don’t think you should make a living wage working part time hours. There was a guy complaining on a fb ups site that he has 30 something years and get $2500 pension or something and is not happy about it. Wtffff Anyways yea
15 is too low to start.$15.00 to start

Yep, the work is to physical. Almost Everywhere pays more than 15 now in city’s .15 is too low to start.
But they don't pay any benefitsYep, the work is to physical. Almost Everywhere pays more than 15 now in city’s .
I know that, and you know that but most 20 somethings don’t care. Once they were allowed to stay on insurance until 26 they don’t even think about it until then. A consequence of teaching adults not to be responsible for their self. But they don't pay any benefits
Healthcare is a lot of money whether they use it or notI know that and you know that but most 20 somethings don’t care. Once they were allowed to stay on insurance until 26 they don’t even think about it until then
Yes, it isHealthcare is a lot of money whether they use it or not
The don’t not care about benefits. And they won’t work for 15 bucks at UPS when other places pay more for less labor.I know that, and you know that but most 20 somethings don’t care. Once they were allowed to stay on insurance until 26 they don’t even think about it until then. A consequence of teaching adults not to be responsible for their self.
I would be ready to throw parttime under the bus if it wasn't for the ones that have stuck it out for years only to make the same or less than new hires that will be gone in 6 months. But they don't pay any benefits
