And more hours and a steady scheduleThe don’t not care about benefits. And they won’t work for 15 bucks at UPS when other places pay more for less labor.
Abundance will definitely get a yes vote but I don't know if O'Brien will let that happenI would be ready to throw parttime under the bus if it wasn't for the ones that have stuck it out for years only to make the same or less than new hires that will be gone in 6 months.
Not everyone can drive.
There has to be a way of rewarding them.
Bonus at ratification or something.
Then go full time.. why doPart-timers start here at $25 an hour already. 25/h is not close to a liveable wage. Why? Because it's part-time. Less than 400 a week. 25 an hour is an MRA adjustment to try and get part-timers in the door and not enough. You're right about not deserving 25/hour. We deserve more. UPS will be paying seasonals and new hires more than tenured part-timers once again when that 'attendance bonus' comes into play.
^My struggle this evening. ^Then go full time.. why do
You think working part time deserves livable wages?
Are you stupid or something? Did you not read my post? 25-hour starting wage here for seasonals + new hires. I make 25 an hour even though I've been here well north of a decade, less than seasonals + new hires when they do their attendance bonus union-busting bull. 25 an hour part-time is not a liveable wage. In regards to full-time? Mind your business. If justice existed it would be the same work for the same pay but the spineless allowed the two-tier division to creep in decades ago. I can make 40 an hour part-time and it won't be a liveable wage, don't you worry mester. Then go full time.. why do

Exactly. You can sit on your ass answering phone calls for $20+ an hour, tough choice! The don’t not care about benefits. And they won’t work for 15 bucks at UPS when other places pay more for less labor.
Right now I'm thinking we shouldn't be bargaining together at all. This right here is what UPS wants to happen. Division between part timers and full timers.
Bingo, pure disdain. Focus that anger on seasonals making more than your brothers and sisters. Focus that anger on UPS paying $10 more than the union negotiated in the last contract in many areas. This right here is what UPS wants to happen. Division between part timers and full timers.

Move to a different state then. The options are endless.
