I would stay with the synthetic. You don't have to change your oil as often and it's better for the car in the long term. If you trade it in every three years it really doesn't matter but if you are keeping her stay with the synthetic.

Oil changes are 6K miles regardless of oil type with the Nissan.

I normally turn them in and lease a new one every 3 years (it is the one thing that I do for myself) but I am thinking of keeping this one so I will probably stick with the synthetic.
