Christmas season goes from Thanksgiving to New Years. Lots of things can happen, lots of Christmans stuff to report etc. This gives folks lots of time to write or post something about the season.

When I was a kid, everyone got a huge catalog (size of a big city phonebook). There would be a toy section....probably a third of the catalog. We would spend hours just circling the items we wanted for Christmas.....Sears, Penneys, Monkey Wards, etc
