I'm finishing 8 week loading trailers and finally built up a pace but it still takes time.

Work safe and try to set a goal each night to increase some. They are supposed to be training you but that's wishful thinking.

How much training does it take

1. Pickup box

2. Toss box onto pile of other boxes

3 Repeat for the next 4 hours

There ya go you are now trained

I agree it does take time, we're you above the PPH rate?

The paperwork the gave us said 400-500 an hour. Never happened, I hit 300 like 2xs. lol My average now is like 197-215. I do better working alone In the beginning I was going between 165-200 depending on the night.

That's why its called building a pace. Since the men that have been there 15+ years are only doing 275-300 pph I'm doing ok @200+ in 2 months.
