Great lakes area here -- I have not heard anything regarding part-time changing to 8 hour shifts.I’m on the west coast and we are hearing from union 8 hour days starting January . Anyone else hearing this in their area?
Lol, good luck. They better hire plenty of new permanent drivers.I’m on the west coast and we are hearing from union 8 hour days starting January . Anyone else hearing this in their area?
How many miles??? The guy that used to deliver to my daughter in MT said that 35-40 stops was an 8 hour day on his route. That would be 43 stops and maybe up to 60 pieces on my route. Nfw they let me get away with that 5 days a week.

YAY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I’m on the west coast and we are hearing from union 8 hour days starting January . Anyone else hearing this in their area?
That makes more sense to me , 8 hours sounds unrealisticWe've been told 9.5 will be strictly enforced.
No way the company could do 8 hour days. Think of all the time you spend in the building and driving to your area. You think the company wants to pay us 8 hours for 6 hours of work?
Just because we all don't drive a gay smart car like you don't hate.

It does go great with your beard though.
I don't remember what it's like to work in the dark.
Every single year we hear this. Lasts somewhere between 0 and 3 days.I’m on the west coast and we are hearing from union 8 hour days starting January . Anyone else hearing this in their area?
We will get a few days of decent dispatch. Then it’ll start creeping up. Then they’ll start production harassment. They always talk about this sort of stuff after peak. I doubt the 8 hr days, but 9.5 is generally what they try to stick to. Except they keep trying to add more stops and harass the drivers for not keeping it under.
