I'm not sure about current prices but unlikely to be like the old days when you could get a brick of 500 for 20 bucks.

I was recently given a box of 22lr Winchesters found at my former Grandparent's house. Turns out it dated back to the mid 60's.

That works out to about $.07 a round, that's not bad for .22. It's been a couple of years after another ammo shortage, the last time I paid $.10 a round for some CCI.
