Looking at purchasing a handgun. What do you guys think of Walther? Gun will be mainly for range shooting (and home protection 🤞)
Don't have any personal experience with them but pretty much anything from the long-proven major manufacturers is going to be okay.

Sorry, but I don’t care anymore.
the only Walther ive had were 2 p.p.k...32 semi.....too light.........id consider short barrel o/u 12 or 20 gauge.....nice practical weapon.
Walther no longer makes steel frame handguns. Haven’t for a awhile. I own PPK/s in .380 acp. Hold on to the steel frame guns.

PPK is a great pistol. Dated technology but still works. I have a cheap Hungarian copy of one that is surprisingly accurate. My only criticism of it is a crappy trigger pull.
I considered getting one about nine years ago. Have they discontinued it?
