Big gun show this weekend at the expo center walk in with cash walkout with whatever kind of gun you can imagine.
Gun shows almost always overpriced although fun.
Another common misconception with gun shows is that there’s no restrictions on buying which is inaccurate if you buy a gun from a gun dealer at a gun show you still have to fill out the paperwork. You cannot buy a handgun at a gun show if you’re not a resident of that state without having it shipped to an FFL dealer. People that bring weapons to sell that are private party are no different than any other time. It’s private property and can be sold without a background check.

It is almost all gun store owners. Not many deals from them. They hope to sucker the people who don't know what real bargains are. There are some private sales but a very small minority. Gun shows are better for accessories and ammo or items you don't commonly see in stores.

But the (fake) gun show loophole!

I always laugh when I hear people pretend there’s some sort of gun show loophole, that’s not a loophole that’s private property that you could sell anywhere. Yes you’re right. Most gun shows are full of gun dealers. Most of it is overpriced or best regular priced just hoping to catch people ramped up the excitement of a gun show.. occasionally if you’re looking for something extremely rare, you’ll find it at a gun show. Other than that they’re kind of a waste of time.

I have NOT been lurking

Not true here at all. I find it much better at the shows, I go on Sunday a couple hours before they wrap up and get dealers to wheel and deal with each other to get my money. I’ve bought several guns way below going rate due to them competing and not wanting to take merchandise back to where ever they came from.

That’s cool, but I have had much better luck getting great deals online. Gun shows are fine, but I rarely find a good deal. The gun shows that come around my area are the same people every time. Not to mention you have to pay to get in to begin with. It doesn’t hurt that I have an FFL dealer close to me that only charges $10 to do the transfer.

Usually the same people but some gun shows are better than others.
