This is why I don’t go to gun stores very often. If I saw one on sale for a good price, I would buy another one and I really don’t need it.

If you can believe it I bought one from Kmart a long time ago. Sold it to my best friend about 10 years ago.

One of the best .22's made. Low cost and extreme versatility. Not benchrest accuracy but plenty good enough for plinking.

It’s weird. I see them anywhere from $179 up to $500+. I’m sure there something special about the more expensive ones but I don’t know about THAT special.

You can easily spend $500 upgrading them new barrel, trigger and stock a nice scope and you’ve spent that

If you want a fully tricked out one sometimes its cheaper to buy one like that from the factory. It depends on what options you want to end up with.

I’m in the market for a rifle but I have almost zero rifle experience. The only rifle I own is a 30-30 from 1946. So should I buy a mini 30 a BAR or a M1a?

Good choice although its hard to go wrong with an M1A either. Mini-30 isn't bad but I prefer the Mini-14 from a Ruger

With improved ammo the 20 pretty much took over the market for 16's. Nothing wrong with the 16 but not enough people wanted one.
