I got one more spot to check for it and if they’re out then I guess I’m ed. I got CFE pistol but I don’t like it. It’s too fine to meter right in any of my powder drops. I’d like to get an RCBS powder drop but . Can’t even find that.

All the Barry’s bullets products say “unavailable from manufacturer” so either they’re just completely slammed or they had a Covid outbreak at the factory. .45 and 9mm are running low at the Bullet War Room lol

Pretty much identical yessir. Couple years ago I couldn’t find hp38 and used 231. Pretty much the same ballistics wise too.

My uncle owed me for loading him .250’s a couple years ago and ended up giving me the brass and that powder. He runs ramshot true blue now. So I’ll take it. Even though I’m pretty much swimming in 9mm brass lol

Slower burning than HP-38/W-231 but great for a lot of calibers. I tried Accurate #5 and liked it but I usually end up with Unique. Only criticism I might have is it does burn kind of dirty.

Light loads with #5 seemed a bit dirty in 38 Spl. I have a lot of 296 I plan to use for the next run of 357 Mag I do.
