That won't be happening on my route. I hardly see anyone. I doubt they will tip me. I used to get great tips back in the day when all packages had to be signed for and when I had business routes.

Hmm, I can see their point, but if a great preloader makes the difference every day in what time you punch out, I would have to do SOMETHING. Lol.

I haven't seen a great loader in at least 5 years.

That's why I bring the guy who loads my truck food now and then. He makes more than me but I have to let him know I appreciate him.

Then I wouldn't tip them. IMO, a tip is to show appreciation for a good job. If you suck, too bad for ya.

Some of its not their fault. Our PT sups literally just tell them get it on the right shelf.

My helper even told me yesterday she was falling behind and the sup said just throw it into the back of the truck. The drivers will figure it out.

Especially in NYC for some reason.

Here it really ticks me off that everywhere you go there is a friggin tip jar. I'm not tipping in Starbucks or Panera, etc.

That's the way it was around here. I used to get a few small things (case of beer-jug of booze- 5 or ten bucks) but $250--unheard of.

We have 5 drivers in my pull. I got $25 from each of them and had them sign the card. Then I told my preloader their is a 12 pack of beer for you in my car.
