Only cooling part of the house is a different issue. Not related to 110 vs 220.

I have a pool as well, and when using the filter my electric bill goes up $150-$200...
filter runs off 220

I gotta new pool cleaner, the Dolphin Dx 6, guess what, it runs off 110 and only costs penny's per use

Not always. Depends on how its made. Geothermal uses electricity to run the pumps that eats up a lot of the potential savings.
