I really don't need it but I get tired of fit with my wife over the central.
It's a guy...
I run a couple window units because 110 is cheaper than 220

Exactly !!!!!!I fought with my wife over the central too. She just couldn't understand how central works. Its efficient and great at keeping the house cool but doesn't have the extra capacity to cool the house off quick. My wife would want to open the windows when its 90° outside to let in some "fresh air". She would close the windows just before I got home but the house would still be hot when I got home.
No problem...saving you from embarrassing yourselfHe is a guy
Yes ,thanks for telling me.
You got it backwards. 220 is more efficient.
I know. And we have expensive electricity here.I had about the biggest air conditioner that used 110 in my window. When I used it my electric meter would start spinning around like it was possessed.
That would be a full time jobNo problem...saving you from embarrassing yourself
no I don't... I'm not in every room...
It costs more to cool 2200 sq ft than it is to cool 700
Can't wait to file a grievance against you.Looking like I may soon be an east coaster again. Had a fantastic interview and then went out to dinner with the center manager and an ORS. *fingers crossed*

You should have seen the look on the CMs face when I told him I hadn't had a grievance filed on me until I was 6 months into FT.Can't wait to file a grievance against you.
My wife uses the temperature selector as an on/off switch. I tried explaining what a thermostat does; that was stupid.I fought with my wife over the central too.
