Id rather land on a road, or you know, a runway.

There are some crop dusters around here that have hangers on their property and when they have to take off they taxi down their driveway and take off on the main road

Main road is better but you usually have power wires to dodge.

We had one of those planes land right in the middle of a subdivision about a year ago. Landed in the front yard of a house. Not too much damage, either.

Usually the lines don't cross often though. So you can pick a side and then once you get below the lines you're home free.

Well $500 later, the kitchen stocked back to capacity. Got everything to make meatballs and gravy too. Should keep the Mrs busy tomorrow morning in the kitchen.

maybe I hear more about airplanes because I live like 2 miles IAH. The planes fly nearly over my neighborhood on final, tho it isn't the most active runway at IAH.
